Internet software disappears all the time, through acquisition, financial failure, or neglect. Putting your agents on a service that could vanish is a risk, and we want to take as much of that risk away as we can.
Here is what we do about it:
Your configuration is portable. Every agent is a YAML file you can copy out of the dashboard at any time. Nothing you build is locked in a format only we can read.
You can run it yourself. The same ServFlow engine that runs your agents on the hosted service is available as a binary, a Docker image, a brew formula, and an npm package, to run on your own machines with your own keys. The hosted service is a convenience, not a dependency.
Extensions are open source. Actions and integrations are built on the ServFlow project at github.com/Servflow/servflow, released under the GNU Affero General Public License 3.0. What you build on it is yours to keep and to publish.
We support what we ship. We intend to keep the hosted service running, and to keep applying security updates to it, for as long as there are customers using it. We will keep supporting existing features unless something outside our control, such as a change by a provider your agent depends on, makes that impossible.
If the company changes hands, we will do everything in our power to make sure the product, the self-hosted engine, the open-source project, and this promise live on.
